there are just some days where you have to accept:
depression is a real thing
where you have to celebrate the small victories
you got out of bed
you made breakfast – and not just cereal straight out of the box, but real breakfast
you fed the cats
you fetched the mail
you even managed to wash the dishes – and better, you didn’t break anything
and sometimes…that’s just the best you can do
it is LITERALLY the best you can do
THE BEST
so, celebrate being the best
at least a little
before you go back to bed
